I'm hoping to attract someone who's compatible physically, mentally, and emotionally. I'm attracted to just the right combination of consciousness, common sense, and knowing when he needs to stand his ground. I love brothers who love natural black women, although I do wear braids, weaves are not really my thing. I love a great conversation, as I tend to be pretty talkative. My ideal match needs to be a good person who stimulates my mind and makes me laugh, all in the same conversation. He must respect women in general. He needs to be interesting, have morals-values, respect, and goals in life so that he holds my attention. He needs to be able to communicate his needs vs. wants, likes and dislikes. He should be open to trying new things, rather it's food, activities, places, or music. He needs to know when to be serious and when to be silly, but is himself at all times. He needs to be honest, supportive, hard-working, trustworthy, intelligent, responsible, down-to-earth, fun, one who follows through, and a great parent.
Who makes me smile is someone who remembers what I like, notices the little things, and loves me for me! In a relationship, we are best friends, we are able to respect each others' space, we can express our thoughts to one another in a tactful way, we are supportive of each other, we have each others' back through thick and thin, we have a natural attraction, vibe, and energy that can't be contested. We know each others' strengths and weaknesses and can compliment them. We can always pull out each others' best self. We can admit our faults. We blend and fit like two pieces of a puzzle.
Closest friends would describe me as:Too serious (until you get to know me), one who handles her business a NO nonsense person, dedicated friend, talkative, passionate, a true friend, direct, 100% real, a great mom, natural, down-to-earth, and loves to dance! What makes me smile: my true friends, the relationship I have with my mom and daughter, accomplishments, seeing young people do great things, being in a positive environment with my people and everyone's having a good time, traveling, good food, and the performing arts.
I am most passionate about leading by example, meaning what I say and saying what I mean, the performing arts, math, kids learning helpful, positive information, being the best mother I can be, being happy and continuing to do what makes me happy, staying healthy, achieving my goals, and keeping positive people in my life.
My side note: It won't hurt if HE is a great-looking brother either - tall, toned, and handsome. I know looks aren't everything but they sure do help because there's nothing wrong with being a good-looking, great person! A little eye-candy never hurts, right? ;)
