Alright, so I guess I'm doing this again. I was on here a few years ago and had a positive experience. Not sure what has changed on this site so I'll start by sharing some things about myself. I work in finance for one of the larger firms in the industry. Been doing this for a while now, so let's just say that I know where the staples, hand sanitizer and heavy duty packing tape are all located in my office. I have been told that I am not your typical 'finance person' although I really don't know what that means. I appreciate what I do and have fun doing it, while always abiding by the rule that work stays at work.
I have lived in a few neighborhoods. Currently, I reside in the West Village where I have been for a little over four years now. I openly complain about my penalty box sized apartment and the boisterous crowd outside my window but I secretly love the neighborhood. I'm also the least fit guy on the pier along the Hudson but I'm okay with this; they definitely work out!
I am originally from northern New Jersey. Please don't be concerned, I don't own a blow dryer nor do I ski in my jeans (anymore). My family has since scattered. My siblings moved a little further away. My parents however live on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and they think every day is Saturday. I have a niece and two nephews between the ages of three and five. I love them even though they wake up way too early on the weekends.
I enjoy watching sports and participating in them. Whatever the outcome, I am usually over it in about three to four minutes (tops!) I play on a coed softball team. I'm the pitcher because I suck. What else? Oh yeah, I am not very hairy (my female sources inform me that this is good and I should share it). I exercise primarily for sanity purposes and because I am really interested in owning a single chin at a time. I like to run along the Hudson whenever I can.
I am looking for someone that is honest, easygoing, fun, loyal, athletic, attractive (in my opinion) and doesn't take herself too seriously. She cares about the important things but is mindful of the little ones. I would like to meet someone that is geographically convenient. It would be cool if you lived in Manhattan or in the surrounding area. It would just be easier and well, I don't own a car. I suppose I am traditional.
