I’ve been told that I’m not exactly your typical Texan girl; I’m petite (not everything is bigger in Texas), straight, soft black hair, cute, fit, and a global citizen. My family moved from Taiwan to California when I was young, until my father’s fear of earthquakes pushed us south to Houston (naturally, ha!). My love for lakes and water sports solidified when living in Austin for University. I love being active during the week (3 days a week- Zumba or turbo kickboxing) to stay in shape. Three years ago, I set a goal is to travel abroad at least once a year – which has lent itself to quite some adventures. So far, have done a four-day Inca hike to Machu Picchu, canopy and canyoning in Costa Rica, dodged scooters on the sidewalks in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, and white water rafting in Colorado. If I find myself near a beach, I tend to scuba dive. It’d be great to share these once-in-a-lifetime scenes, foods, and moments with someone special - who’s up for an African safari?!
I’m super lucky to love my job. Being a consultant affords me balance and freedom in my day-to-day work. I’m goal-oriented, logical, grounded, generous, and optimistic. To relax after work, I might curl up with a bowl of my homemade “hot and sour soup” (it’s good!) while watching CSI or Criminal Minds. Secretly (shh!), I love puzzles and sometimes dream about being a top forensic scientist (but I don’t think I can handle the gore). ? Sometimes, I play a little Diablo 3 to unwind, and nothing beats the occasional after-work cognac for it’s smooth, fragrant and lovely taste. But, all cocktail hours are better with a party of two, which brings me to you.
