A pragmatic dreamer and hopeful romantic. Professional duties require me to be able to make excellent plans, but on a personal level I prefer spontaneity and on the spot decisions. I try to live without Hemingway's source of all cowardice . Of course, a good soundtrack along the way makes the adventure all the more enjoyable. Mine would definitely include some Stevie Wonder, MJ, Miles, hip-hop, soul (old and new), and that 90's RB. Throw in some classic Beatles and newer Florence stuff, and away we go!
I am a fairly versatile individual. I am gregarious and enjoy social settings, but also cherish moments of solitude. I can hold serious and substantive conversations, but prefer to keep it light. I work tirelessly, but relax at the end of the day. I play hard and get dirty, but clean up nicely. I like to dress to the nines, but also love rocking a clean pair of sneakers, chucks, dunks, etc. I will challenge you along the way, but will give my unwavering support to your decisions.
I try to get in a few days of snowboarding in the winter, just about the only thing you can't do in L.A. On the weekends I try to take advantage of the SoCal weather, be it playing some sport (probably soccer), hiking, biking, running, or bbq-ing. Indoor activities include visiting a museum, hanging at a coffee shop, taking in a movie, ...maybe all of the above. Of course, lazy weekends under the covers, wearing a hoodie, getting a late brunch (mimosas and bloody mary's no doubt), doing crosswords, and enjoying the sunset work out just as well. L.A. in the summer has so many options from KCRW events and restaurant pop-ups to outdoor movies and concerts in the park/pier, I can barely keep up.
I'm looking for someone who is comfortable in her own skin, and knows what she wants. If that includes: wanting to move away from the clubs and the awkward striking up of conversations in a bar; adventures and impromptu trips to wherever; and at least being open and warming up to the part of your life that includes sharing it with the one you will call your guy for a long time to come...maybe forever....then by all means, don't be shy.
