I guess this is where I have to talk about myself without mentioning the words crazy or being a guest-star on America's most wanted. LOL
Well, I guess I could start with the usual. I'm an Irish Red-head from New York. (So, that first line pretty much covers all my good qualities). Well maybe not all of them, I did live in New York until I joined the Air Force in 1986. Since then, I've travel all over the world, from the good ole USA to Antarctica to the Middle East. It’s been a heck of a journey. Best of all, I've had the privilege of serving with some of our countries greatest heroes. Now, after 23 yrs serving, I'm finally retired and living in Texas enjoying life. I work at Wayland Baptist University WBU, I have my MPA Degree in Homeland Security and Terrorism and God willing, I will start my PhD program in Strategic Security in Apr 2013. I have two great kids (18 and 21) that both attended WBU and who think their Moms cool for wearing combat boots. I have two great dogs that make the best welcoming committee when I walk in my front door. I work hard and I play hard. I can have fun doing just about anything. I have an exciting sense of adventure and like to try new things. I love to travel and discover new places. By day, I enjoy playing any sports, hiking, golfing, horseback riding, racing, skiing, four-wheeling you name it. By night, I love country dancing, movies, bowling, sporting events, comedy shows and long romantic walks. But I have to admit, my favorite things to do are discovering new places to eat especially Italian, Mexican, seafood (cooked), steak cuisine, they’re at the top of my FAV list. Not to mention, New York Pizza :D. I also have a serious passion for desserts as well. I love to laugh and spend time with others who have a good sense of humor. Enjoy being adventurous, but can also enjoy listening to music and a nice quiet conversation with a good friend. I am looking for a person to share my time with and perhaps develop a long-term relationship. I want to have a relationship where we respect, admire, and appreciate each other’s unique qualities. We enjoy our time together, being very affectionate, and continue to learn from one another. I'm looking for a man who believes in God and Jesus Christ, who's honest, confident, who enjoys discovering new things, enjoys being romantic and knows how to treat a woman (i.e opening my door and getting flowers... just because). He has to have a sense of humor, enjoys being with family (even thou both my kids are young adults and in college), they are a big part of my life.
