I'm just a small-town girl (insert some sweet Journey guitar licks here) who's always looking for that next great adventure that will become another story that I'll be laughing over with friends for years to come.
By day, I work to make local government more relevant, accessible and interesting for citizens. By night, I'm either busting my butt at boot camp, checking out various community events, or conning some friends to join me for a pint on a patio. On weekends, it's all about sleeping in, reading piles of newspapers and books while listening to some new tunes, checking out a new restaurant (or an old favourite), and cranking the radio while hitting the road up to Georgian Bay for late nights on the beach.
For me, it's about a little bit of tye-dye with my cowboy boots, some Grateful Dead with my Willie Nelson, cider over beer, back-roads over highways, Hunter S. Thompson over Hemingway, north over south and a Tarheels game over anything else that might be on ESPN.
I'm generous, open-minded and can't resist an opportunity to dance to Tom Petty tunes. I've been called a "pistol" many times before - and choose to take it as a compliment. I spend a lot of time living out of a suitcase and can be hard to pin down, but there's an awful lot to see out there in world and I can't stand the thought of missing any of it.
I'm a sucker for a great smile, a good story-teller and someone who can introduce me to new things. I don't care what gets your motor running (unless, you know, it's illegal or harms someone) - I just care that there's something that drives you, some crazy dream you're passionate about and devoted to making come true. I'm looking for someone who's comfortable in their own skin, can make me laugh til I can't breathe and whose kiss makes me a little crazy in that this-feels-like-fireworks kind of way.
