Trying to effectively describe the essence of you in a little tiny box is always interesting. Lets see...well...I'm originally from the Pacific Northwest, got tired of alk the clouds and rain, and chased the sun all the way to Florida. I hung around with the beaches, sun, and humidity until I happened upon a chance to migrate back to closer to where I came from. I have not been in Vegas long, but I am looking forward to learning and exploring as much as I can of my new environment. All of my travels have been via vehicle because I have a wonderful traveling companion that just would not fair well on a plane. She happens to be of the furry with wet nose type. :-) Traveling across the country and back has been educational on many levels and I would not have traded the experience for anything. It was about as educational as going through medical school, just on a different level. I got my medical degree in natural medicine so I am termed a naturopathic doctor. Most people hear that and say naturo...what? Lol. I will explain further to anyone that is interested, but in short I have been trained to find the reason why you are sick instead of just treating the symptoms. To put it another way, if the human body was a car, I would change the oil when the oil light comes on vs. covering the light up with tape. Now when you put it that way...why would you practice medicine any other way...right? I am a very outgoing, boisterous, energetic, and fun loving person. I love to laugh and have been told that I have a good sense of humor. If appropriate I will take any chance to find a funny anywhere I can. I can be fairly sarcastic, but unlike most girls, can take it just as much as I can dish it out. ;-) I am optimistic and always try to find a little piece of good in every situation, no matter how small it may seem...hence a chance to possibly find some laughter. :-) I love love love to flex my creative muscles by cooking. I have been, and still am, always involved and consumed by science and the facts/theories (however you want to look at it...more theory in my opinion, you have more options that way) of the practice of medicine, that I found cooking was a way that I could be creative on a daily basis. Along with knitting (ha ha I know, but you will see, you can make some pretty stinking cool things if you think outside the box) those are my two creative outlets. When I'm not cooking or knitting I am pretty much up for any adventure, whether it be outdoors or indoors watching a great movie. Like I said earlier I'm excited to get to know the area I live in. I can do it myself, but having a little direction would be wonderful as well. What I would enjoy in a partner is just that...a partner. I didn't put myself through medical school and travel across the country...twice...by not being self sufficient and relying on other people. To put it simply, it would be unfair for me to say that I am going to need the man in my life in the traditional sense. I don't need to be supported in anyway monetarily or do I need someone teaching me how to live life. I've pretty much got all the basics covered, which I would hope my partner does as well. With that out of the way then all we have to concentrate on is enriching each others lives with who we are, the love we have in our hearts to share, and the experiences that we will have together. I look forward to meeting you, whoever you might be! Maybe it is you...email me and we can find out :-), and if not then take care and be well in this coming year! Best, M
