About me section! Okay, it was a warm, summer’s eve in good ol’ Mesa, Arizona, when I… Annnnd before I lose you in what is sure to be a drawn out autobiography, let’s break it down into smaller, bite-size pieces :)
The Basics: I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, and moved out to Los Angeles when I started college. I graduated a couple years ago and am still here pursuing what I love. I'm friendly and passionate, organized and structured. I like plans and lists and knowing what is next. I'm determined and work hard in all areas of my life, and I hate settling for second best. The performing arts (theater, film, and television) are very important to me, and provide more than just entertainment. I’m a nerd and proud of it (my all-time favorite movie is Star Wars), and I find numbers and statistics truly fascinating (I attribute that to my accountant father). I LOVE baking. I cook too, but baking is really my specialty. I'm quirky and weird, glass half full type of person. I'm easily excited, distracted by shiny objects, and laugh at lame jokes. My favorite color is red, and I love roses.
My Family: I am one of six kids and I absolutely love my family. Mealtime is an all-time favorite affair and the conversation usually lasts a lot longer than the food does. I am used to quick witty banter that's filled with movie quotes and sports references. There's no need to be shy when you first come to a family dinner, because if you can dive right in and keep up, then you’re good to go and the family will love you. We’re all very close, and even though we’re spread all over the country we keep in touch and have a blast hanging out when we’re all in the same city.
My Faith: My faith is very important to me and I am looking for someone who shares my same beliefs. Christ is at the center of all my decisions, and I firmly believe that He has called me to this city. God has a plan for me and even though I don’t always know what it is, I trust Him to guide and protect me. I believe prayer is incredibly powerful and I enjoy seeing prayers get answered. I attend a church here in Hollywood and serve on the hospitality team.
What I’m Looking For: I'm looking for someone who shares the same goals and values as me. Someone I can rally behind, and someone who will rally behind me. I'm a huge romantic, so I'm a fan of showing love and attraction through romantic/cheesy/corny gestures, so a man who will do something cheesy just to show me he likes me wins major bonus points. I'm looking for someone who enjoys going to dinner and a movie, having a good glass of wine, going to a baseball game, or just taking a walk around the neighborhood. Someone who will go on an adventure for no other reason than just because we want to. Someone who appreciates the nerd and OCD side of me. Someone who enjoys just hanging out and getting to know each other. I’m looking for someone to settle down with and eventually start a family with. If you're confident and can make me laugh, and by chance look fantastic in a three-piece suit, then you're probably my man.
