Hi there, thanks for taking a look at my profile. I thought I'd start by introducing you to a little info about me: smart, sassy, sexy, sarcastic, and sweet. Now, here are (hopefully) some characteristics that describe you:
- You know the difference between two, too, and to; their, they're, and there (you get the idea)
- You can laugh at yourself, and with me (ok, and at me too sometimes)
- You take care of yourself (physically, emotionally, financially)
- You don't mind my singing in the car (you say "atrocious", I say "rock star")
- You're funny, hard-working, ambitious, and genuine
- You're willing to lie about how we met! (ok, I'll compromise on that one).
These days I prefer low key evenings with a more relaxed plan (e.g., see a play, museums, coffee, grill out). In terms of activities, I love spending time with my little guy (Yogi). I also just recently adopted a rescue pup (her name is Ruby). She was found as a stray, all alone on a highway somewhere in Alabama (what can I say? I'm a softie for this stuff). I mistakenly thought that I would be able to give her a temporary good home until I could find somewhere permanent for her... which turned out to be me! So now, I'm adjusting to a two dog home. When I'm not controlling the chaos here, I also enjoy reading, pilates, movies, cooking (although I'm no "Top Chef"!), singing (I take lessons on and off, so if I ever sing for you the damage to your ears should be minimal), and painting.
I'm a fan of HBO and Showtime, some of my favorite shows are: Shameless, Dexter, Weeds, True Blood, as well as some good cable (Always Sunny) but my all-time favorite is Man vs. Wild. Now, don't get too excited, I'm not exactly an "outdoorsy" girl. But if we ever get stranded in the desert, I'm fairly certain I can make us a shelter out of an old camel!).
As for me, I'm an educated, independent woman, who's looking for that someone special. My ideal match will want a relationship and treat it as his priority, but he will still have his own friends and interests. He's smart, witty, warm, honest, loyal, not afraid to be affectionate, enjoys hanging out at home as well as exploring new things out on the town, and of course - loves dogs. While I'm sure this has been said many times before, chemistry and physical attraction are a must, as is a sense of humor, an appreciation of irony, as well as someone who doesn't take himself too seriously. Like most people, I love to laugh and have fun! I'm searching for someone who is quick witted and keeps me on my toes. At this point in my life I know what I want and so will my match.
