This is the hard part…but here goes. My friends would describe me as fun, entertaining, charming, honest, kind, open minded, and easy to get along with. But you have to remember that they are my friends :) All joking aside, I think I’m a nice person and I really enjoy meeting new people and forming meaningful relationships.
My home state is California but I moved to Oklahoma City over two years ago to start residency. I'm currently applying for fellowship and hope to move back to the west coast relatively soon. Since starting residency, I haven't been able to do much due to a pretty crazy rotation schedule. I look forward to doing more this year and taking advantage of some of the things OKC has to offer. It would be really exciting to go to the theatre, museums, movies, restaurants, coffee shops, parks, etc. with someone that I enjoy spending time with. Also, volunteering has always been very important to me and I look forward to getting involved with Habitat For Humanity. I would love to share that part of my life with someone as well. Being a doctor is something that I’ve always dreamed of accomplishing and I'm very happy with what I do now for a living. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to have all these wonderful events taking place in my life. With time, I sincerely hope that my training will slowly allow me to make a difference in other people’s lives.
I consider myself to be a hard working person in every aspect of my life. In my opinion it’s important to be passionate about everything you do because you never know what’s going to happen tomorrow. Life’s unpredictability and its challenges can make things very difficult or frustrating at times. But from experience, I have found that with the right attitude anything (work, relationships, or just having fun) becomes more enjoyable. Also family and friends are very important to me and I believe life is way too short to not let people know how much you appreciate them. No matter how busy I get, I make an honest effort to keep in touch with the people I love.
I love trying new things, surprises, shopping, food, and chocolate. Umm…I feel like there’s so much more I could say but I can’t seem to do it right now. Mental block I guess. Like many other people, I’m hoping to find my partner in crime that will make me happy and excited about experiencing life’s roller coaster. I think I’m going to leave it at that.
