I have a lot of energy, and love creating and sharing happiness, looking on the bright side, grateful for opportunities and health.
I'm looking for a relationship that maximizes our shared life, liberty, health, and pursuit of happiness. I work out, run, practice yoga, and it would be fantastic to find someone to sometimes share these activities with. Or at least this is what I think I want . . . right now I'm content to meet and spend time with new people, make new friends, and see what happens.
Family and friends are incredibly important to me, but we first gotta take care of ourselves to the highest before best benefit others. I love cooking for friends and family, and I endeavor to treat others with respect. I've chilled out a lot since beginning yoga and meditation practice a few years ago, and generally maintain an upbeat, appreciative perspective. I'm grateful for my legs, hands, eyes, ears, apartment, job, family, friends, MUSIC, and so much else. Even a bad day is another day in paradise.
With a sense of humor :) I'm more witty than funny, taking advantage of humor-in-the-moment, but love laughing regardless, at myself and with others. Crass humor and sarcasm has a time and place, and if it's the right time and place, I like it.
I moved here to Jax in August, by way of Orlando and Tallahassee, and take pleasure in learning more about the city and what's available here. I want to take a surf lesson as soon as it warms up a bit more, and I'm looking forward to the River Run in March.
Random long-term goals:
I haven't hunted, but I think it would be interesting and worthwhile to consume the fruits of my labor and hand; the original organic meat. I almost took a week long survival course a few years back; can't remember now how/why I lost interest/didn't follow thru.
I used to drive a Jeep Cherokee, but sold it when I moved to the flatlands of Central Florida and was no longer using it for it's intended purposes. I would love to convert a Jeep (or any car really) to run on vegetable oil/used cooking oil. This is way beyond my present knowledge and capabilities, but I do think it would be a fun summer project.
There is still a lot of traveling and exploring to do, both domestic and international.
The world awaits--
