Do me a favor, take a minute and imagine a happy young boy. His father looks on with pride as he sleds by himself down a hill covered with the first snowfall of the season. Suddenly out of nowhere, he runs into a tree. He sees his father coming towards him calmly, but with concern in his eyes. He promptly gathers him up and takes him to the Emergency Room. This is the boy's first memory. 15 minutes later, the boy is in the arms of a beautiful ER nurse with a voice like an angel, skin like silk, and the scent of flowers. She gently holds his hand and tells him it will be OK. And it was, because she was there with him. A few stitches later, even at such a young age, the little boy realized then and there that men and women are different. He was born to be like his hero, his Dad, and women were to be loved, appreciated, and cherished. That was the boy's second memory.
I love what makes Men men and Women women. It is the grand design. If you are a woman and you want a man, read on...
Life is epic. Beyond description but not beyond experience. Throughout my life I have sought out those moments where I could truly be alive: swimming in a natural pool, the final strides in a marathon, watching the disappearing contrails of a jet, actually looking at individual snowflakes, experiencing the aroma of freshly baked bread. Yet, nothing is given in this life, these moments have to be earned, which makes them all the more worthwhile.
I've been fortunate in life and my careers and have never had a bad date. It's good to be back in Ohio after many years living around the planet, and I can't wait to start unabashedly exploring the surrounding cities and country. In short, I don't know what being bored means and you won't either.
I was raised right by good parents, took my schooling seriously, and immersed myself in years of training. I will run out into the storm to get the car while you stay dry inside, I will stand when you come to the table, I will be between you and the road ready to soak up the puddle splash as we walk in the city, and if your sundress isn't enough for the unexpected weather, I will give you my coat. Not because I need to impress you, rather, because it's the right thing to do. But listen up, I won't be carrying your purse, and you definitely don't get the last piece of pizza.
I understand your desire for passion and romance. We're both looking for those seconds where everything else melts away and it's just you, me, and life: you dropping a bunch of bananas at the farmer's market and jumping on me because there was a spider, high fiving each other after guessing the Pictionary object with only two lines drawn, feeling you move ever so slightly closer while watching a touching scene.
I am here to meet a feminine woman. You are free to be you. And while your things and my things will sometimes be different, know that when I see you in a silky dress, smelling great, and glowing, you're going to get kissed the right way... and often.
