I just returned home from a 2 year adventure as I ate and farmed my way through Italy and spent 9 months of that time in other countries (Ireland, Mexico, Turkey, and the Balkans). I am back in the US and will be moving back to Colorado Springs as I am ready to "start my real life" again.. I love all foods that are Italian, the Italian language and traveling in Italy. I have traveled extensively and always have the itch to visit new places. I love to spend my down time hiking in the mountains with my dog, running or swimming. I am born and raised in Florida but I love the mountains and seasons of Colorado. I know who I am and where I want to go in life and I am ready to find that partner to share it with me. I am very close with my family- I have one sister who lives in DC and my parents are in Florida. I have worked in the hospitality and food and beverage industry and will find my way back there again. I love to cook and often throw fun dinner parties for my friends. I am not into the bar/club scene anymore, but I do enjoy trying new bars with fun cocktails or other artisan specialties. I am much happier having dinner parties, spending active time with my friends and relaxing at home. That said, I also love adventure and travel. I hate wastefulness and thus, I am not into Vegas. I love spending money on food, travel and experiences. I am very playful and often can be silly. I also have an intense personality and am a strong, independent woman. This scares some guys off. But if you can handle it, I have a lot to give and am a very generous, loving and supportive person as well. I am thoughtful and can be romantic. I love making memories over giving tangible gifts. I am into healthy living, eating, cooking and exercising and it is important to me that my partner values their health as well. I'm not saying you have to be a gym rat (personally I hate the gym, I much prefer natural exercise outdoors with my dog!) but I am saying that you have to care about yourself and your health.
My ideal match is an adventurous eater and likes to travel, whether it's a weekend trip to the mountains or an adventure across the world. He is educated, funny, and generous. He notices and appreciates the simple things in life and natural beauty. He is not wasteful or consumed by status. He is thoughtful, kind, and playful. My ideal match likes to be social and values his family. He loves the outdoors and dogs. Of course he knows how to treat a lady, and he might even be talented at fixng things (think cars and computers). He enjoys the arts and might even be an artist of some kind. He is not conservative or heavily religious/christian.Most importantly, my ideal match will love me for who I am and who I am not. He will be able to tolerate my intensity for some things and be able to balance me. I am not looking for the male version of myself, but instead someone who can understand and appreciate me while also balancing me, bringing new perspectives and adventures to my life.
