I am a strong and determined person. I am passionate about helping others and am currently in a nursing program at University of Delaware to be completed in May 2013. Academics is something very important to me, and I completed my BA in biology in May 2011. However, while I may seem serious about my academics, I really am a down to earth person who loves to laugh and be silly with friends and family. Speaking of family and friends, I am incredibly grateful for who I have in my life and the relationships I have built with those who surround me. I think my friends would describe me as hardworking with a lighthearted sensitive side that loves to share in on a good joke or laugh.
In terms of my hobbies I love to be outside when the weather is nice, especially the beach. I grew up in Milford, DE so very close to the DE beaches, where I spent many of summers. Another thing I am passionate about are animals. In May 2011 I rescued my dog from a shelter, he is a poodle bichon mix, and I love him with all my heart! I also love movies, and will always be up for a great comedy like The Hangover!
