I drive a stick, yes even in L.A. traffic. I'm a carnivore. I'm partial to Pinots and Syrahs from the Central Coast when it comes to wine, and Sapphire martinis or good quality rye or Bourbon whiskey for tasty adult beverages. I also have a firm opinion that at least 50% of all of the best lines uttered in any movie since 1990 were delivered by Val Kilmer in Tombstone.
I'm drawn to humor and intelligence. That applies to people in general, not just dating. So for dating, it's humor and intelligence plus breasts. Oh, and charming quirkiness. So ... humor, intelligence, breasts and charming quirkiness. For whatever reason, I've found that an appreciation of classical music (not exclusively or even primarily, but just the ability to "get" it) is a really good predictor for compatibility with me. That, and breasts.
Some favorite activities: outdoor movies at Hollywood Cemetery, concerts at the Bowl, wine tasting in the Central Coast (haven't made it to Napa yet), comedy clubs, skiing, road trips, and also more low-brow things like bowling and poker, and more nerdy things like board games and karaoke. I love traveling, and have recently been to Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. Less recently to Montreux (French part of Switzerland) and London. I spent the summer of my 21st year riding around on a bus all over the country performing in Drum and Bugle Corps competitions, so I've seen a lot of the US. :) But more significantly, I love Boston, New York, Seattle and Chicago.
Other random things that might interest you: I'm a business owner; I work at home; I play piano, sing and compose music (a hobby, not a career); I'm trying to learn guitar, but struggling after years of piano; I'm kind of an old movie buff; I know how to use semi-colons properly.
