This is me in a very very small nutshell...
While I claim to be a native Californian, it isn't quite true. I am originally from Washington but moved before down here before I was able to move faster than a stumble. I made my way to sunny California with my family and this is where I've been ever since, sorta. I spent five years in the Army after high school and lived in some pretty amazing [and some not so amazing] places around the world. Those five years were by far the best experiences of my life and they've had a huge impact on the man I am today. I enjoy being outside soaking up this California sun -- even though my skin seems to hate me for it. We're so fortunate to have this mediterranean climate in California and I can't seem to get enough of it. I like hiking, backpacking, camping, climbing, and generally walking under the sun (or moon). I'm also a big time Angels and Ducks fan. I try to make it to a ton of games during both baseball and hockey season because the competitive atmosphere at the Big A and the Pond cannot be beat! It must be a combination of the fans, beer, and sportsmanship that make it so enjoyable. When I get some free time, I like to play golf, hockey, softball, and anything else that sounds fun and allows me to be around good company.
I've got a lot on my plate and am constantly looking for more -- so long as I maintain time to kick back and do nothing more than enjoy the comfort of my home and the company of my friends and family.
