I'm very creative and I enjoy people who are equally innovative, but not necessarily in the same aspects. I love to laugh, be surprised and challenged. I love to talk, so good listeners are welcome :o)
I am currently working on a novel and looking to get it published. I have been writing music and lyrics since I was young and have been in the studio since I was 15. I was struggling in the music industry while keeping afloat in the desperate mortgage industry when I asked myself "WTF are you doing?" That's when I went back to school for my master's in creative writing, which I just received this May.
I am very outgoing and sarcastic at times. I try to read my audience for the level of sarcasm that is acceptable, but I have absolutely no problem abusing my talent of wit with people I will never see again in my life. I am also very loving and generous - to a fault sometimes. I find myself doing more for people than they ever would for me, but I try to remind myself that what someone could/would do for you is not why you should do for them. I am a great home cook... I'm not just saying that... I've been told by every BF, friend or family member that has eaten my food that I'm an awesome cook, and sometimes I hear that I'm the best. I am mostly influenced by my Italian background, but I've been told my Mexican food is pretty great. i really don't like to brag, I hate it actually, but this site requires that I do so lol.
I think family is very important. You don't have to like everyone in your family, but you do have to respect that somebody "up there" put you guys together for a reason, so just deal with it if you can't figure out the reason(s).
About who I'm looking for..... I'm not really looking. I believe that if you're looking for something, you'll never find; you must let it come to you... BUT I will say that I enjoy being in the company of funny people. I appreciate confidence, but humility over cockiness is so sexy to me, I cannot tell you. I enjoy other out-going and goal oriented people. Things I absolutely cannot stand... anyone that is still involved in any way with a crazy ex. My last relationship broke up because of an ex and I will never again date anyone with a kid that was not a widower. I also can't stand guys who do embarrassing things in public ie) double or tripple-takes at other women while I'm standing there, stare at themselves in reflective objects found around the store, take longer than 30 seconds to realize they don't have exact change at the supermarket or talk on their cell about something they deem "cool" enough for other people to overhear. Also, I can't stand cheaters or liars. I'd rather be dealing with mature individuals that keep it real. If you're a good person reading this, hit me up :o)
