I appreciate a little role-reversal in our society. C'mon, email me first. I will only admire your initiative. :)
I'm a huge fan of fitness. I go to a Crossfit gym several times a week, currently. I enjoy fit people, and prefer to date someone on the fitter, slimmer side (this includes 'curvy,' if by curvy you mean built curvy rather than curvy because you're overweight). If you can have a conversation about a clean, jerk and snatch without snickering (okay, snickering is fine, since I enjoy 12-year-old humor) and know what it means... awesome. I dislike cigarette smoke, people who believe being gay is a sin, and those who believe they're entitled to special treatment because of who or what they are.
I like to think of myself as adventurous, but let's call it... adventurous-with-companionship, because I feel like I'd go just about anywhere and do anything with the right person. Getting lost in some hellhole isn't terrible when I have someone I like with me. Then I can laugh about it, and we can have fun while we work our way to freedom. I can be quiet at times, and other times I may be right in the middle of it all... although more often I like to just observe the action. I'm definitely happy when I'm riding my motorcycle around. I suppose at times I'm a thrill seeker, and someone to join me in that would be nice. For my biggest thrills, I ride motorcycles. Roadracing, specifically, at tracks such as Sonoma Raceway (Sears Point), Thunder Hill, Reno-Fernley and Buttonwillow. Yes, it is somewhat dangerous, but I'm going to live my life as much as I can. I'm not going to fail to live for want of absolute security... because we never have that.
I've learned the hard way that failure to communicate can destroy relationships and break hearts. I try my utmost to communicate well and clearly, but we all fail at times. Sometimes I need prompting, but my heart will always be in the right place.
I don't care a bit about hair/skin/eye color. Beyond those few attributes, I can't really describe my ideal match. Like so many people, it's just one of those things that you know when you see. Personality-wise, I like people who enjoy a bit of humorous sarcasm, question things around them rather than take everything at face value, don't take too much for granted... someone adventurous, inquisitive, sweet and happy. Cuddling and touching are also really big to me, when I'm with someone I'm attracted to and like. You'd also need to be at least somewhat comfortable with the fact that my speedometer occasionally reads in excess of 160 mph (on the track), and I just might get hurt.
Right now I'm not looking for anything in particular. Dating, yes. Hanging out and having fun, sure. Other than that... we'll just have to see. Note that this doesn't mean I'm avoiding a relationship. I'm pretty content with life right now, but if the right person comes along... fantastic. I do miss having that person in my life who I'm excited to see and can feel at home with, no matter where we are. I've been to England, Ireland, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, a few little points on the Caribbean, Thailand, and many US states. I'd love to find someone who wants to travel with me to new places. Australia and New Zealand?
For those of you who care one way or another about tattoos: mine have immense personal significance to me, and always will. They were not chosen on a whim, but with a specific theme and design in mind, based on a life-changing few seconds of my life - a few seconds that almost ended it. If you want to know about them... well, I prefer to discuss it in person. It's a moderately long story.
