I love a nice dinner, romance, wine tasting, good movies, music!, dancing, the outdoors (camping, hiking, Sierra's wildlife), my Jeep. I believe in my faith, strong foundation of trust, friendship, an open heart and nurturing intimacy. It's all good, God, family, friends, and giving of yourself from the heart. A good quote, "It's not what you say, it's what you do". I go to the gym every morning to start my day, I'm active yet I know how to slow down to smell the roses too. I’m looking for that someone special, a best friend, companion, a soul mate with a good sense of humor, optimistic to what life will hold and likes the simple qualities of life too. Someone who wants to enjoy life, romance and a passionate man. I am honest, courteous, respectful, empathetic and giving, yet strong to protect and true to myself. I am not looking to change anyone or be changed, I'm looking to compliment you, walk by your side, be there, hold and love. I am open to kids... :) I used to be a Committee Chair for a very large Boy Scout Troop, leading hikes and backpacking in the Sierra's. I recently got back into hiking, advanced experienced hiking 15-20 miles with lots of gain :-), I've done the S Mtns 9 Peaks Challenge 30 miles and 11,000 feet total ascent, 2 years in a row, each time in one day going from dark to dark, this to fill my time until the right person crosses my life's path. I totally believe in treating others as you would want to be treated and practice that, focused on doing whats right, not self serving. I believe I am now in the best shape of my life, physically, emotionally and spiritually :-) ...aka "Lone Wolf" 1/19/2013 On the trail today I met an elder 70-80 yr old lady walking slow, silver haired with a hunched back, said she goes by the name Ruth, she had her bible and micro spikes on, said she went to Peak last week up an un-maintained trail (the trail I use, a real butt burner) hitting snow & didn't want to go that route again, I should her a map ' she's going to Alger's Creek maybe Dobb's Cabin & back, she said god told her to hike today, she wanted to find place to read her bible, we talked...and talked :) about not dwelling :) about anxiousness not being good and about god being all around us in our lives :) and with us in our life's struggles, I could tell she she had her struggles too, as we all are in different manners at different times, she was so sweet, content, clear minded, I gave her some water :) told her not to worry me by pushing too far, don't need to reach peak to read her bible :) she said I may see her on my way back down, I left feeling blessed, then starting feeling overwhelmed with this positive energy feeling, Something about her was truly blessed and with grace, we touched each other in a way, it felt I knew why I am here now, let god lead my way, where ever I may end up ends up being purposeful :)
