I love sports...Yankees, NY Rangers, NY Giants and UNC basketball. My idea of a good night is drinking beer and watching a game at a sports bar...however, I do like to dress up and go to "it" spots in NYC on occasion. I’m pretty easy to please and really laid back.
I'm secretly a dork. My major is college was Latin American Studies. Due to my passion and interest in the unique history and culture of Latin America, I was one of few who to be selected to study abroad at the University of Havana in Havana, Cuba. It was an amazing and eye-opening experience and truly humbling.
I love history, art history (my favorite artist is Matisse - favorite painting, "The Skater"), crossword puzzles and LOVE to read...I tend to gravitate to historical nonfiction. Some of my all time favorite books include, "Forever", by Pete Hamill, "In Cold Blood", by Turman Capote, "Middlesex", by Jeffrey Eugenides, "A Million Little Pieces", by James Frey, "Memoirs of a Geisha", by Arthur Golden, "Love Story", by Erich Segal and SO many more!!
The only TV I watch (besides sports) is on the History Channel, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, IdTV and any channel that airs Family Guy. No "Keeping Up w/ the Kardashian's", or "Gossip Girl" for me.
I simply want to meet someone who makes me happy and gives me butterflies in my stomach every time I see him. I'm looking for someone who:
- makes me laugh
- Intellectually challenges me and is a good conversationalist
- Spontaneous and adventurous, but also completely content with lazy days
- Is career driven, but able to maintain a healthy worklife balance
- Loves to cuddle (I know it's cheesy, but it's a must for me!)
