I recently moved here to go to grad school, studying Psychology (no, I will not read your mind, nor will I psychoanalyze you) and am extremely passionate about my education. For the most part though, I love to be outdoors and I don't let school or research consume my life. In fact, I wish I had enough space to have a doggie running buddy. I don't take myself too seriously. I definitely love to laugh at my own expense and probably yours too. I'm currently doing this while listening to old SNL episodes on Netflix, which actually says a lot about my sense of humor. I tend to be very low maintenance. I enjoy time together but also cherish my independence. Sweating the small stuff is a deal breaker for me, creating drama is a huge turn off. I'm pretty sarcastic and upbeat, generally pretty goofy, but who knows!?
I'm originally from Northern California, went to college and played soccer in Southern California, so I figure that I'll be in for a rude shock this winter. When I'm not running, you'll find me playing in a soccer game, or just wandering. This city is awesome and I find myself procrastinating schoolwork by getting off at a new subway stop and walking until I get hungry enough to stop at a new restaurant. I have a frozen yogurt addiction and will always pick cuddles and a movie over staying out too late, just saying.
I just moved here and I'm looking to spend time with people who share my interests- It's no fun going to a hockey game by yourself (dont even get me started about this lockout)! I like to be challenged and pushed, but also respected. I also love to be surrounded by people who have deep convictions and are highly motivated.
If you can tell me what Art Vandelay imported, we will get along great.
