I am a divorced single of a wonderful 6 year old. Much of the past 6 years has been devoted to raising my son, but he's not a toddler anymore, and now it's time for me too. Being a single parent is very serious business, but I like to have fun. I have a good sense of humor that could use some CPR. Not looking for dinner and a quickie, to serial date, or to hook up, I'd like to meet someone to make it to the rocking chairs with..... I'd like to meet someone that in 10 years I still have something in common with, and someone to have good conversation with and to be able to look at them and say Hey, not only do I love you, I like you! Someone to grow with, not apart from. I work in IT and have been with the same great company for 14 years. My son's father is very involved, so that gives me free time, which I spend mostly with my friends, since I haven't found my significant other, and they are wonderful and funny and all married ... I mostly enjoy hanging out with friends, having a glass of wine, love going out to ethnic restaurants (I'm a foodie) , I like reading books and magazines, theater, concerts, movies. I work out when I can fit it in. Enjoy supporting the Bills and the Sabres, but my life doesn't revolve around it. If you have to watch all 85 Sabres games, I might not be the girl for you, no offense Sabres...... And I gotta be honest, I'm looking for someone my age, so let's keep it in the 38-48 range and local... I am shy, but once I get to know someone and feel I can trust them, I open up.
