Hello!!
Well, here I am; and here you are, too; and here is a little bit about me.
I moved to Los Angeles from Georgia about seven years ago for work. I like it here. I have some very dear friends in LA, and I manage to get into a fair amount of adventures with them. I really like spending time outdoors; hiking, backpacking, camping, rock climbing. Mountains are some of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen, as is the ocean, and the desert . . . ok, all of outside is pretty great. I’d like to get into more sea kayaking. (I’m taking lessons.) When i’m not outside, I like a nice movie, boardgames with friends, a quiet to medium loud bar, a good restaurant, grilling out with friends, a nerdy marathon of old shows on Netflix, a nerdy marathon of new shows on Netflix, etc.
I have a seasonal beard. It comes and goes.
I’d like to think I’m adventurous, honest, affectionate, kind, and intelligent. . . and a little silly. . . and a little nerdy.
I am a camera assistant for commercial productions. My work schedule is never the same from week to week, and I’m always in a new place. The variety of experience in my career is one of the best parts of it. I’ve been lucky to do a fair amount of traveling for work, and my schedule allows me to do a fair amount of traveling for fun, too. I’m looking for something who loves a spontaneous road trip, or plane trip. Someone to share grand trips and epic romances, as well as tiny trips and tiny romances.
I’m looking for someone genuine, honest, and intelligent. Someone enthusiastic and affectionate. Someone who is a geek about something: travel? food? knitting? Doctor Who? or maybe something I haven’t even heard of that makes you stupidly excited to talk about it.
Someone delightfully ridiculous.
I’m looking for a companion. A partner and an equal in exploration, adventure, and life. And someone to share funnel cakes with because they’re tasty as all get out, but they’re huge.
I can parallel park.
I am a good cook.
I have been known to build things.
