I'm a free spirited, independent California girl who lives for adventure, the outdoors and new experiences. So far each day is an adventure better than the last and I am very grateful. I've been lucky to travel to over 40 countries and collected awesome memories like sky diving and bungee jumping in Switzerland, volunteering with orphans in Nepal and Jamaica, surfing in Brazil/Hawaii/Costa Rica (I am a terrible surfer but it's still so fun), climbing the Great Wall of China, scaling Machu Picchu and exploring the Amazon Jungle. Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, learning to fly, getting scuba certified and backpacking around the world are next on my bucket list.
I've just moved back to the Bay Area after 8 awesome years in DC, the last 4 of which I spent working at a tech startup. I'm curious and love to learn, read and discuss what's going on in the world. I'm ambitious and my career is important to me, but nothing is more important than family and friends. I feel deeply for others and always root for the underdog. I especially love volunteering with kids, the homeless and the handicapped. More than anything, I hope to make some sort of positive impact. My friends would tell you that I'm positive, kind, happy, spontaneous, fun and love to laugh -- often at myself. I love to take care of people. I'm passionate about music and seeing as many live shows as possible. I can't say no to a Giants game, a film festival or stand-up comedy. I'm also a total foodie with a soft spot for anything spicy.
