My best qualities are also my biggest downfalls. I am caring to a fault, trusting of people even when I am told I shouldn't be, and passionate to the point of exhaustion about helping people. I believe whole heartedly that people can change for the better if they have the tools to do so, which explains why social work is my choice of careers.
I love what I do. I can't imagine doing anything else with my life.
Last year I moved to Modesto from Orange County (Irvine) for work. Crazy, I know. Modesto is definitely very different, but I am trying to find things I like about it. That is harder than it sounds lol.
If you are looking for someone who wears makeup all the time and hates wearing sweats, that is not me. I love getting dressed up to go out to dinner or out for the night, but during the day makeup is rarely on my face and I am known for wearing yoga pants much of the time. I would choose cooking dinner and having a movie night over a night at the bars, although occasionally those nights are fun. During the day I prefer to be outdoors rather than indoors. I love hiking, but haven't been since I moved to Modesto.
I laugh, A LOT. Many times I will randomly start laughing about something that happened days ago. As cliche as it is, a good sense of humor is important to me. I also think it is important to find the "silver lining" in every situation because without it, life would be much harder.
I am as adventurous and spontaneous as I can be. A week before my friend was going to drive to Boston by herself to move there, I decided to go with her. Two girls (and a dog) driving across the country in the middle of winter, and taking the northern route, probably wasn't the smartest idea, but it ended up working out perfectly and was an amazing experience.
I am just looking for someone who is honest and has a good heart...someone who likes to laugh and have fun but is also someone who has dreams and aspirations and is going somewhere in life.
