Originally, I'm from Iowa. I had lived there most of my life, until I finally got tired of winter and moved to SoCal for a new job opportunity. I'm a pharmacist at a local hospital. You've probably heard of it, as occasionally celebrities go there...
I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2007, and even though I can't go to games as often, I'm still a passionate fan of the Hawkeyes. On Saturday mornings in the fall, I can usually be found in Santa Monica rooting on the Hawkeyes with the Iowa alumni club.
While I'm enthusiastic about watching most sports, I believe in living a rewarding, active life as well. I try to take advantage of the mountains, beaches and all SoCal has to offer. I'd also like to try surfing and skydiving, among other things on my bucket list.
Another of my passions is traveling. There are many places I'd like to experience. I've been to France, Italy, and Australia. My opportunities to travel slowed down in school, but it's something I've picked up since. Last summer I visited my twin brother in Juneau, AK. Talk about a wonder! I now tell people to plan a trip to AK, as it truly is a wilderness marvel.
