Life tends to draw us in many directions and doors can open and they alas can close. Through my journey I have found true happiness in the small things - the smile and laughter of my son, a kind gesture from a stranger in an elevator, Christmas eve with the family, and winning at Risk by "." The sublime is within reach if your eyes are open to it. I want my partner to be my best buddy, my lover and able to kick my when I'm being short sighted.
