At this point, I'm pretty confident in what I enjoy and whom I hope to enjoy it with. Good writing is a turn on. Being active and living a healthy lifestyle is my jam, as are crosswords, Scrabble, wit and wordplay. "Vegas!!" does not excite me, and neither do labels. I can rock a cocktail dress or yoga pants, but i will usually choose the yoga pants. The occasional day off to go to the swimming hole in Santa Cruz could happen. If I peer over the side of the boat, I'm going to want to jump in. I have a supportive family that I'm close to, differences or not. I am fortunate to work in two separate industries that are oddly related - both keep me on my toes. I'm a considerate and compassionate person. I'm the aunt that gives books as presents. I'm bad at remembering to watch TV so I just don't worry about it anymore. I'm a fool for high fives and hugs from my niece. I am not a fan of flakey people because I was raised to follow through on commitments.
Things that make me laugh, everytime, without fail: John Mulaney's "Salt and Pepper Diner" bit; The Muppets; When someone says the word "duty"/"duties" in any meeting or conference call.
Things you should probably know about me: I love my career and where it's been taking me. I recently accepted a position at an amazing early stage startup (corporate wellness technology) and I'm excited for this brave adventure I went after for myself - it's based in SF so I've enjoyed recently moving to and exploring my new city. I also work with high school kids and love it; I do improv comedy professionally and have been for 11 years now, so it's not a "phase," it's a part of my life; I enjoy every day and don't let myself buy into hating Mondays or waiting for Fridays.
I'm attracted to positive and healthy lifestyles, as well as kind, considerate and compassionate people with a wicked sense of humor.
