I'm very happy with my life and where I am. I've had a great education, served in the military, worked as a lawyer and consultant, and run my own companies. I recently started a hedge fund and (separately) a solar energy company. For fun, I enjoy the basics -- movies, sports, exercise, vacations, desserts, and guilty-pleasure tv -- and am also up for other adventures (sky-diving is on the list!). I strive for that right combination of laid-back and ambitious, self-confident and humble, independent and supportive. I don't control everything in my life, but I've chosen to enjoy it.
There's no substitute for sharing life with someone close. A person who is intelligent, confident, and optimistic. Someone who tackles big challenges and yet lives in the moment. You know, just the basics.
