I'm educated, successful, funny, and am told I'm pretty good looking; I like animals, kids, sports, conversation, quiet nights with good friends, and most of all good music; I am healthy, keep a clean house, garden, can fix things around the house, and I cook well; why am I single and on this site again? No clue.
OK, so that little rant probably comes across as arrogant; I was really just trying to put some of my good traits forward, and be a little funny about it. I'm a romantic guy, and am, or at least always was, the type of person who is happier in a relationship rather than single. I've had three major relationships in my life, each lasting longer than three years. This last stretch -- since moving back to the Valley -- has been the longest I've ever been out of a serious, committed relationship. I miss it, and would love to find someone who I want to spend all my free time with.
So, a little about me I guess: I'm a lawyer, and was born in Brownsville. I moved out of the Valley at 18, and didn't move back until I was done with college and law school (having taken a couple years off to work in between). I love animals, and have three dogs and two cats -- all pretty big. I think maturity is important, and look for it in a potential girlfriend, but I think the ability to be a goof and immature when the situation is appropriate is just as important. I love music, and travel regularly to see different bands. My mom is one of my best friends in the world. Speaking of friends, I don't have lots of them, but the ones I have I'm extremely close with. I like to cook, but haven't done it much in a while because cooking for just yourself sucks. I would like kids one day, but think that it's important for a family with means to adopt as well, so I'd like to adopt at least one child.
