I am on here with the goal of meeting someone that I can develop a relationship with. However, I am the type of guy that likes to take things slow. Having a conversation over a couple of drinks is always a great way to determine whether you want to get to know someone better.
Practically everyone I know (family, friends, and coworkers) think I'm a great guy and can't figure out why I'm still single. So I've gotten use to telling people that I am looking for the right girl and I don't want to settle. I'm a christian who is educated and has a good job. I'm respectful and considerate, but I also have a good sense of humor and can get creative when it comes to being sarcastic. I enjoy meeting and getting to know different people. I'm usually pretty laid back; however, I can also be charismatic and engaging depending on the situation. I enjoy playing sports and I've played football and basketball since I was eight years old. I still play in local rec leagues throughout the week with friends. I don't have any baggage from past relationships; however, I have learned a lot from them.
I have the best family I could possibly imagine; my parents have been married for over thirty years and my grandparents have been married for over 50 years. I have two brothers and a lot of cousins who live in the Akron area and they have been some of my closest friends throughout my life.
Financially, I'm pretty stable. I have my own apartment and I could buy a house if I wanted to. I've avoided buying because I don't want to be too committed to a location especially without knowing who I'm going to spending the rest of my life with. I don't have any financial debt; however, it's ok if you do (I realize that about 95% of people do).
Overall, I've always made decisions in my life in preparation for my future family and I am in a position in my life where having a family of my own could become a reality and it is exciting.
