I am just your average girl looking for love. I want someone who can make me laugh, hold me when I cry, and who I can fight with but still make up with. I love to swim, play tennis, and just curl up with a good book (especially on a rainy day).
I work hard for my money but still love spending it doing things with people (or for people). Family is a big part of my life, it's just me my mom and brother, but I also have a niece (almost 20), and 2 nephews (17 and 18). I am the youngest of 2 (was 3 but my sister passed away last year), by 15 years, so I have been spoiled rotten my whole life (and it shows)! I have 2 dogs, both Shih-tzu mixes (13 pounds and 29 pounds), and a new 8-week old kitten. I love animals (except like spiders and insects, but I don't mind like snakes and lizards), and honestly would love to go to the zoo or aquarium right now! I missed out a lot as a kid because my dad passed away when I was 2, so I never got to go like camping, or fishing; but I'm definitely willing to give it a try! I love traveling, my dream vacation would be somewhere exotic (though I would still love to go to Europe to sight-see) like Bora Bora, or Brazil.
I'm looking for your average guy who just wants to live life to the fullest. I don't expect candy and flowers all the time (though I wouldn't say no to every once in a blue moon!), and I am more than willing to take turns paying when I go out. I have been fiercely independent since I turned 12 (my mom got pretty sick then), but would like to have someone be willing to take care of me from time to time (which I would definitely return the favor).
I wouldn't describe myself as a girly girl, but I'm not a tom boy either. I'm somewhere in the middle. I'm most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, but love dressing up now and then. I don't do a lot of makeup, I feel like you should like the way someone looks, not necessarily the way THEY THINK they should look. But I will do light light makeup for special occasions.
I'm happy going out, and enjoying my surroundings, but I want someone who can be just as happy/comfortable at home cooking/watching a movie/reading, or just talking. I don't know a lot about sports, but I would be happy to learn (not having a dad, and having a 20 year older brother I kind of grew up in a womanly household with no sports knowledge).
