I've been quite leery of the whole Internet dating phenomenon but have had a few friends that have had success with it so I figured - What the hey!! I'd give it a try! So here goes...
I'm 31 years old. I have an extremely boring desk job, But I am beyond thankful for it as it allows me to attend go-sees and auditions quite often. I have been signed to a local talent agency for almost 3 years. While I love being the center of attention ON STAGE, I am not like that all of the time. I am pretty much your all american girl next door, maybe a tad high maintenance, but I blame that on the former Pageant girl in me! ;)
My friends and family are my everything. I wouldn't be half the person I am today if it hadn't been for the love and support they have shown me. I would do anything for them. Well anything LEGAL that is! :)
I LOVE Animals!! Probably why the Zoo is one of my favorite places on earth!! I have owned cats and dogs my whole life. As a child, I was guilty of bringing home all the strays. In July, I adopted a 2 year old Pit Bull from "Doggie Death row" - His name is Sawyer. He is the sweetest boy. Such a wiggle butt!! He'll attack you alright...with loads of kisses. The fur-critters are my "children" :)
Road-trips are such good times. I've been very blessed in my travels. But there's still thousands of places I'd love to visit. The spontaneous ones are the best. I can't begin to count the number of times either myself or my friends have instigated a trip, where we just jumped in the car and drove to where ever the adventure took us. I've seen 35 of the 50 states because of that craziness!
Music is like oxygen to me. I honestly don't think I could breathe without it. My iPod is filled with everything from ABBA to Mozart to ZZ Top and a little of everything else in between! Although country is most definitely my favorite! I enjoy going to concerts to see a few certain artists. Some of them I've been lucky enough to have met a handful have became good friends of mine.
Fall is my favorite season of the year. Bonfires, Hot Cocoa. Pumpkin everything. Fuzzy boots. Crisp air. Football games...Love my Buckeyes!! O-H!!! But I am also a fan of the Mountaineers and The Steelers(this one gets me a lot of crap from my friends). I love going to games, tailgating or just chilling at home to watch.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, and ASPCA are charities close to my heart. I have lost a few friends & an Uncle due to suicide. On May 24, 2012 - I lost my hero, my Daddy, to Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The Out of the Darkness(AFSP) and Light The Night(LLS) are 2 walks that I volunteer at each year.
