Well, I mainly join this site because I do not have many friends. I've been disabled since I was 16 years old. I've accomplished a lot of my life, moving from Pennsylvania to Florida last year. I found out how to do a lot of things on my own, I drive, have a service dog, I volunteer; however, what I haven't enabled to do is find friends and that's partly my fault. Ever since my injury I became shy and usually don't initiate conversation or approach people. My social life right now is kind of boring. I do go out to eat every night, but then again I go out to eat by myself. I like to laugh and am really just looking for friends. People to go to places with and do things with, and people who will not judge me or be embarrassed to be around someone who is in a wheelchair. I think for being in a wheelchair I have a good outlook on life. I'm very positive and I don't let a lot of things piss me off. I like to have conflict free and stay away from people with a negative outlook.
