You'll probably consider me to be spontaneous, expressive, independent & assertive. My friends describe me as curious, intelligent, full of positive energy, socially-adept, fearless. Often first to step-up for a challenge, I'm considerably type-A, driven, organized. "Work hard, play harder" is my mantra; I've been told that my "off-switch' is broken. I am known to be honest, even brutally so, but usually think before I speak (insert disclaimer here). "The Doctor is in:" I am the one my friends turn to when they face a loss, a breakup, a bad day, or a tough situation, equally so when they need an event planner. I may just be an eternal student, having studied psychology, political science & law, considering getting another degree. Active & versatile, I fill my life with a balance of work & play, endeavoring to combine the two whenever possible. As a lawyer turned policy analyst & consultant, most men see me as achievement-oriented. I'm even told some find me intimidating (I think this is the funniest thing I've heard yet!).
Snowboarding in Colorado & surfing in Hawaii are the closest I've been to heaven yet! Some of my favorites are biking, hiking, running half & full marathons, weight-lifting & dancing (ballroom to bar-room, etc.). Just as much, I enjoy travel, clubbing, fine dining, wine tastings, intellectual debate & sharing the occasional cigar in a lounge, playing with my dogs, or relaxing in a hot tub amidst quietly falling snowflakes. TV is a rare indulgence: mostly NFL, travel, history, science shows--especially Through the Worm Hole w/ Morgan Freeman & Colbert Report. Though fairly young & free-spirited, I strike most people as an "old-soul." In my opinion, life is about seizing the moment. I am close to my mom & best friends--we share the same witty, sarcastic sense of humor. Though I lead a full life, I strive to make time for those who are special to me. I like to take my time to get to know someone & enjoy pondering about what makes people "tick." I have lots of friends, both male & female. I believe soulmates come to you in their own time.
You are: honest, fun, independent, educated, acutely aware of yourself, healthy, fit, adventurous, spontaneous, emotionally stable, not overly religious, lacking a criminal record & positive in your life outlook. You keep your own interests & hobbies but are willing to share them. Healthy in all arenas: mental, spiritual, emotional, physical, social, you are driven to be your personal best. You are unafraid of an honest, expressive, open, emotionally stable, intelligent, capable woman driven to reach her own goals, but who still appreciates & expects chivalry, ethics, manners & a gentlemanly demeanor. Confidence appreciated, brashness not so much. Bonus if you like to ski, run surf, dance salsa, or at least be willing to learn to "get your groove-on!"
DISCLAIMERS: One-liners, winks, photo-less profiles, misspelled, inarticulate emails & impolite/explicit messages will receive no response. No response = no thanks. Married/involved/unavailable men posing as singles & "tools" stand out like sore-thumbs. I am more interested in what kind of person you are than your physical characteristics; however, the element of physical attraction is an essential ingredient in a multi-faceted connection. Generally if your BMI is significantly higher than mine or if I can outrun/outlift you, chances are we won't match up. I'm choosy & would hope you are as well. Further, if you smoke, do drugs, are or have previously been married, have children, or lack at least a college degree, we are quite unlikely to connect. A profile photo is essential; prefer several. You can see my "mug shots"; only fair that I should be able to view yours. Proximity is key to a legit chemistry reading, therefore, I'm more interested in meeting in person than an online affair. If you think you've got me snowed, consider that a certain former PI probably already deciphered & won your game. Checkmate!
