I'm just a regular guy that happens to be gay. I'm honest and down to earth and try to live by the golden rule. I'm intelligent and thoughtful. My friends would probably would describe me as the peacekeeper or as the guy that tries to see things from a different point of view than my own. I am not a big fan of the bar scene or the typical gay lifestyle. I don't do drugs, I don't drink and talk behind people's back because I have nothing better to do. I surround myself with people who are caring, loving, responsible and fun.
I love sports (basketball, snowboarding, tennis, surfing, rollerblading, hiking, weight lifting, just learned surfing) and being active. Don't read into that too much, just because I love sports, doesn't mean you have to as well for us to connect. I have a stable career that I enjoy and great friends that I love dearly and am glad to work with a great group of people.
I'm happiest at the beach playing in the waves or playing volleyball with friends followed by a relaxed group dinner.
There is always room in my life for quality friends. Ideally would like to find that one person to share a commitment with, but there's no rush. I've been in long term relationships before so I know it's not always roses and puppies. It takes work sometimes, but it's the good kind of work...the kind of work you actually WANT to do.
Physical appearance is important but it's only half the story. I like a guy who has a caring personality who is aware of his impact on other people. I am drawn to calm energy, balance in life, someone who knows what they want, romantic guy, someone who is athletic and takes care of themselves, not a partier, sweet and genuine. Loyalty, honesty and respect preferrably with a set of dimples and a nice smile makes me melt :)
Oh and please have a face photo when contacting me. I know we're all in different stages of coming out and all but we're never going to get anywhere if we hide ourselves. Rant over, thanks for reading. :)
