I am a caring, compassionate individual who can get along with most anyone; having grown up in a large family might just have a little something to do with that outcome! I have 5 siblings and 16 nieces and nephews whom I adore.
I have friends of many ages and love to converse on a deeper level with others, though I know it takes time for some to get to that point. I have been told that I have a very calming presence about me.
Truth be told, life is not all seriousness, there's just something about the full moon and its affects on me, I just don't know ! Sometimes you just have to kick back and let the sillies out!
I have been quite athletic in my life including playing starter on a college volleyball team, left field in women's softball and co-ed soccer. When returning to college for nursing, I regret that I had neglected those sports. I have replaced those with biking 3-4 times a week, typically 14 miles each day. I love the outdoors!
I try to eat healthy but am not a picky eater; I am interested in trying many different places! I also tend to try to use more natural products but am not a fanatic about either of these by any means.
I love the profession that I am in now, having lost my mom to cancer just over 4 years ago gives me a greater compassion for the work that I do. I always try to better myself in that area; yet, fortunately enough, my work doesn't come home with me. I believe the balance between work and pleasure is very important.
Although I have never taken art classes, I have a bit of a creative streak and just recently started painting (simple pictures), I find it quite relazing.
On the start of a day off, one of my favorite things to do is to grab a good book, sit out on my balcony, and soak up the morning sun with my little side kick Charlie at my feet.
