It's hard not to sound a little bit like a douchebag when writing these little blurbs. However, I promise to do my best.
Much like most everyone else in this town, I'm into politics. I'm looking for someone who is interested in talking politics from either side of the aisle -- as long as we can keep it respectful and fun! I land on the liberal side of things, but I'm interested in hearing all points of view.
As a relative newcomer to the DC area, I'm always interested in finding new places to go, things to do, and sights to see. Classic favorites are good, and off the beaten path is even better. When the weather is nice, I like to be outside, hiking, jogging, or just talking a walk around town.
One thing I've really wanted to try and haven't explored much so far is the ethnic food scene around town. I love Ethiopian, Indian, sushi -- you name it, I'm game to try it. I also like to cook, but I don't do it often and just like in running, it's much more fun with a partner.
One last thing: I was raised in Wisconsin, and am a die-hard Packers fan. Come the preseason, I'll bring the brats, you bring the beer. We'll have a good time.
