I am a fairly easygoing person and am looking for a serious relationship. I enjoy reading, watching movies, going out to bars with friends and rooting for my favorite teams, the Saints and the Nats (neither of which is going particularly well for me at the moment). I am looking for someone intelligent with a good personality (who isn't?) who is likewise ready to settle down. I grew up in Maryland and attended Tulane and Duke for undergrad and grad, respectively. I love to drive (commuting from DC to McLean doesn't count) with the windows down and the radio cranked up. As for favorite books/authors, would have to say...Black Hawk Down, Nelson DeMillle, Jon Krakauer (especially Where Men Win Glory and Into Thin Air), the Hunger Games trilogy (I know, groan) andthe Caine Mutiny. As far as movies go, my favorites include Platoon, Donnie Darko, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Deer Hunter, Blow and What About Bob. Would much rather go to a hole in the wall and have a beer (I'm a beer girl) than go to a club and have to yell to be heard.
