Yay! Spring is almost here!
A little about me... kind, thoughtful, outgoing, friendly, and enjoy helping others.
My wonderful grandparents were a huge influence in my life and helped to raise me, so I lean more towards traditional "old fashioned" values. My grandmother was a fabulous woman who had elegance, class and a kind heart. She was (and continues to be) a major role model for me.
Some stuff I like to do....inviting friends over, exploring Ottawa and taking in the various festivals and other activities going on throughout the year. I like trying and learning new things, and I can now add CrossFit and sailing lessons at the Nepean sailing club to my list of "been there, done that". My next new thing is taking salsa lessons which will be from February 28 - April 11th through the Ottawa Sport and Social Club.
I love to travel, and my most interesting trip was volunteering at an orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 2008. I have been to several countries, with nine of them being in Africa, and hope to be able to continue to travel for many years to come. The furthest east I have been is Muscat, Oman.
A little about you... interested in being in a serious committed relationship and have strong family values.
