I've been in Denver for a little over a year now and it still feels like I moved only a few months ago. There are so many things I want to see and experience and I'm hoping that having settled in a little more, I can spend more time exploring. I just upgraded my camera to a Nikon D800, and would love to find a woman to join in my journeys while photgraphing the world around us!
I should also mention that you must like dogs. I work as the Hospital Administrator for an Animal Hospital and have three of dogs (only 1 has made the journey out to Denver so far, with the other two joining me once I've settled into a house with a yard). So clearly pets are important to me. Since my move, I've spent a great deal of time focusing on my job, but I need to strike a balance. I suppose this is the part where I tell you about myself, and this is what I know...
I'm complex, intelligent, loyal, logical, enigmatic, aloof, compassionate, competitive, kind, selfless, stubborn, quiet, independent, nerdy, athletic, introverted, and social. If it sounds like I can be hard to figure out, that's because I can be. I've experienced a lot in life and all have shaped the person I am today.
I'd like to find someone who enjoys some of the things I do, such as: photography, traveling, the universe; both big and small, off-roading, random adventures, intelligent conversation and debate and, of course sports. However, I'm a sponge for knowledge and experience, so I also want someone to challenge me and introduce me to new things and different ideas.
I can almost assure you that if you're looking for someone that you want to be able understand on the first date, I am not your man. This isn't to say that I'm not comfortable meeting new people. I'm actually quite comfortable and secure in exploring the world around me. However, because of my inherent need to process things internally before I make decisions, I can seem reserved and private. The irony is that I'm very open to new ideas and other people's opinions and I'm especially drawn to someone that can challenge my ideas and speak their mind. I don't feel that I need to have all the same views and hobbies as my partner. In fact, learning from each other is what I find most exciting.
Hopefully, somewhere there is my compliment that understands it takes more than a walk around a park or a drink at happy hour to know each other. I'm looking for that special lady that knows chemistry is important, but understands creating a molecule out of two elements takes time and energy.
If you've made it this far and haven't clicked over to the next person, feel free to wink or send me a message.
