My friends would describe me as an honest, loyal and fun person who loves to laugh and is up for most anything. From being an avid football fan (Go Devils as well Maryland) to enjoying arts and Theatre. (I admit that I love Les Miserables! Caberet - not so much) my friends would also say (at least I hope) that I do not take myself too seriously and that I am fun to be around. Please do no not get me wrong as I am a guy's guy at heart (4 years in the Marine Corps Infantry); however, I open the door (yes, the car door as well) for ladies and still pull the chair out for them at dinner and always put their concerns first. Sorry, a little old fashioned I guess.
Things that make me smile: kind and caring people, good conversation and my 15 year old golden lab as he chases me around the house.
Things that I am grateful for: My two daughters (8 and 6) who are complete Daddy's girls and the most important thing in my life! :-) My friends and family are incredible and I am very thankful for them.
My social life is great. Really have a great group of friends that are up for anything. They are always welcoming, kind, helpful and sincere. From going to sporting events or a sports bar to catch a game to attending a local arts or wine festival. Really enjoy a wide spectrum of festivities. Unfortunately, I am a very bad dancer (Think Eugene Levy's character from "Best in Show" where he literally had two left feet); however, I do try. If having a partner that is a good dancer is a must, I am probably not the right fit. I make friends rather easily, so I usually fit in to any atmosphere rather quickly
Thinks that make laugh: Bad Sci Fi movies (anything that stars Dean Cain, Lorenzo Llamas or Debbie Gibson is going to be great)
Mark Twain comments and writings - someone that I would never want to verbally joust with as his writings and comments were a riot.
Conversations with kids as they offer blunt honesty and innocence (Hence the reason I got back into the gym a while ago).
What I am looking for in a relationship - Looking for someone to share life with and enjoy what life has to offer. From traveling and trying new restaurants to staying home and cuddling on the couch and watching a movie. (Also watching sunrises and sunsets is a plus) Looking for someone who will also become my best friend as well. I know that sounds kind of corny; however, feel that it is important to be able to tell the other person everything.
