Who I am: well it's hard trying to describe myself but I'll do my best. I am a compassionate, reliable, intelligent and goal oriented individual. I love the pay it forward concept. I'm a big thinker. I like to think outside the box and defeat the ordinary or mundane acts that creep up to take over our lives by doing random things once in a while. Guess that's why I went skydiving even though I'm scared of heights. :)
Friends and family are definitely a priority in my life.
I have been in the Army for about 11 years. Looks like I'll be in for at least another four years. Luckily I'll be in San Antonio for those four years so I can enjoy a little bit of continuity and stability. Im moving to San Antonio from fort hood in Sept 2013. I visit SA at least every other weekend to see my best friend.
I have deployed once to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. I'm a medical lab tech. Im about to finish my bachelors degree in clinical lab science. I also wish to get a bachelors degree in Kinesiology and one day be a personal fitness coach or a wellness coach. I've been told I can be pretty motivating when I want to.
My divorce was the result of the Army life and deployments. No cheating or lies. We ended it on good terms.
I believe in karma and try to live my life by doing good things. I don't see the point of being malicious or doing the wrong thing. I'm not particularly religious but I believe I'm more spiritual.
I love to laugh and smile. Those things are highly contagious and I love to spread it when I can. I have a good sense of humor and can be sarcastic at times so be prepared for some banter lol.
I have a surfer girl mentality but don't know how to surf. I'm pretty laid back and don't mind trying new things. I believe it's the company that makes something fun and not particularly the activity.
I'm pretty athletic. Played a lot of sports growing up. I love the gym. I like to mix my workouts with crossfit, weight lifting, and running. It would be nice to have a workout partner. I like to eat predominantly healthy but I'm not a freak about it. Sweets are my weakness. I like fishing, visiting zoos or museums, going to the movies, basically anything from relaxing at home to doing Tough Mudder on a saturday lol.
I've had a lot of ups and down in my life and I learned that you must first and foremost love yourself, respect, and accept yourself. Everything else will work out the way it was supposed to.
What I'm looking for: first and foremost I would like to find someone who is on the same page as me when it comes to relationships. I'm not here to waste time or play games. I want someone who is ready for a relationship. I'm not here to find a serial dater or become one.
I'm looking for a guy who is a gentleman, is caring and compassionate, intelligent, and is driven. Someone who eats predominantly healthy or is health conscious and likes to workout or be active would be a plus. I want to ultimately find my male best friend.
I guess I can't really have a list of exactly what I want in a guy. I think everyone is different and brings different things to the table. I like to think I'm pretty open to meeting new people. Life.... Or dating is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. When life hands you lemons make Arnold palmers lol. Make something sweet out of something sour. If you want to hear a cool story on outlooks of life, ask me about the "Mayo jar and two beers".
Well if there is something you want to know about me, feel free to ask away. Good luck in your searches.
