My name is Courtney and I believe I am an easy-going, compassionate and genuine person. I love to laugh until it hurts and I can find humor in most situations. I am a huge animal lover; and even though I am allergic to my cat, I treat her like gold. Family and friends are very important to me and I wouldn't be the person I am without their love and support. I have been in the Buffalo area for a little over 6 years now. I started off here in school and decided to settle. My hometown is Elmira, which is about 3 hours away and it will always be home to me
I am a huge believer in treating people with kindness, dignity, and respect. I would hope to find someone who shares this belief. I am very much a people person. I love hearing about others' lives, where they are going and where they come from. I am always willing to listen and help those that are in need. I am compassionate, almost to a fault.
I recently graduated from UB with my Masters in Social Work, I couldn't be more thrilled to be starting a new chapter of my life. My dream has always been to help those in need, particularly children. I currently work in foster care; locating potential foster homes, training them, and being a consistent support in their lives to help with the process of supporting children in need. So far I am loving it and I find something different each day that inspires me!
I enjoy going out occasionally but love quiet nights at home with a movie. I am also a pretty big country music fan, though I enjoy other types as well. A country concert on a warm summer night with a cold beer is one of my favorite things!I am pretty laid back and relaxed, I can be happy doing most anything as long as the people around me are having fun too. As time goes on I am learning more and more that life is too short to let the little things bother you, so I hope to find someone that brushes the little things off as well.
I hope to find a guy who is driven and that I can be myself around. At this point, I am not looking for just a fling, I am looking for someone that has potential to turn into something long term (though I am not willing to rush into anything).
