-I'm getting off this for a while.-
I enjoy hosting and group gatherings as much as one on one conversations. I have a deep "side"...or maybe I should say core which can show itself in the books that I read, love for music and creative pursuits. I laugh a lot, often times at myself :) I am constantly humbled and fascinated by the quality of friends and family that I have in my life. Faith is a big part of who I am and the church that I am involved with feels like my home in the city. There's not really any sort of drama in my life as I'm not one for superficiality.
I find myself drawn towards intelligent and competent guys who are still flexible and patient. I appreciate sincerity and thoughtfulness as would any girl. When I'm in a meaningful relationship I'm a bit like a pup, I tend towards companionship, affection and encouragement. I would use a better analogy if I could think of one.
I like to think I'm grounded, fun loving, creative, and adventurous. (But I'm guessing every girl puts that on her profile) I've pursued opportunities to live abroad and moved to Malaga Spain on my own for a year between 2009-10. It was a risk I would do 100x over because it was everything I had hoped it would be. I got to travel so much and was challenged in all the fascinating aspects of life (language, cultural differences, international friends, teaching 6 year olds - all adds up to colorful memories). It will likely come up in conversations so hopefully you can humor me :)
As exciting as international, traveling, or camping experiences are it still comes down to who you share your memories with. I love dinner parties, hanging out with a room full of friends, late night convos, being the first person my best friend calls. The small daily things in life and taking advantage of this incredible city and the little moments. Whether it's running in the morning through lincoln park when noone else is around, a glass of orange juice. peppermint green tea (trader joe's kind), always having good music on, or hosting impromptu gatherings at our apartment.
Apparently...I like to write (I'm impressed if you got this far). I do have some social skills too. You'll have to just trust me on that.
