Life is too short to not take advantage of all the opportunities that present themselves. I don't know anyone who ever looked back and said I wished I worked more, but I do know people who said I wish I would have lived more. That will not be me.
I have been in NYC for 1 year now and can't imagine ever leaving this place. Over the last 9 years I have been traveling pretty much weekly for my job and it feels great to finally be in one place. I am most passionate about traveling and still take spontaneous trips, but my focus is now getting integrated with this city and really calling it home.
A few other things about me:
- My biggest accomplishment to date was hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa to raise money for American Prostate Cancer Research
- I love kids and probably spend too much time skyping with my nieces
- I live alone and can't imagine having roommates in these small NYC apartments
- The outdoors is where I am happiest
- Italy is ny favorite place on Earth
- I take a 2 week trip with my best friend every year
- I think I am a better snow skier than I really am
- One day I want to own a vineyard
- Sometimes people think I am too serious, I don't think that's the case though
I would like to meet someone that:
- Will get on a plane within hours notice and go anywhere
- Trust me when I say Trust me. I don't want someone with trust issues
- Can sit at the beach all day long and do nothing
- Is willing to go hiking / camping
- Enjoys going to a nice restaurant with or without our friends
- Is career driven and established
