Hello world!
I've lived in Philly for about 2 years but feel at home anywhere once I've found good restaurants, cool people and plentiful opportunities to try new things (glass-blowing, ATV-racing, dog-training-- I'll try it). Family, faith and fitness are my top pick-me-ups on any given week. I laugh easily, even when I’m the butt of a joke. My own jokes can go from overly corny to way too sarcastic, but most times, (fingers crossed) they're somewhere in between. I am a die-hard optimist. I have a nerdy passion for learning about other cultures and hobbies. I am trying my hand at re-learning the electric bass after a super-long hiatus. I love traveling and intend to go to at least 3 other countries this summer-- still working on the itinerary and taking recommendations. I make one hell of a grilled cheese but have mastered more sophisticated meals too. I prefer phone over text, comedies over horror flicks, homecooked meals over takeout.
I like men who love laughing, take initiative and are adaptable to the randomness of life (foreign city/ hiking trail/ black tie event/ neighborhood stoop). I think its pretty cool if you’re crafty around the house or car (good with your brain and your hands) and have a few interests or issues that you’re really passionate about.
