I love writing but don't tend to enjoy writing about myself. But I grew up in Southern California, all my non immediate family lives in the Cleveland area, and I often visited. Thought I found the one, 2 months later my cousin offered to teach me how to weld if I moved out to Ohio, and off we went. That was 3 1/2 years ago, and I'm recently single due to realizing I jumped in too fast, and I need to cut my losses and try to find someone I can share my interests in, rather than hope for them in a person because we are now both in Ohio. I had to buy a house because not many landlords want to rent out to Pits, so I'm stuck here awhile, and my dog Tiny may be a bit rambunctious, but as you grow older that wagging tale and smile when you get home from a hard days work is priceless. I travel often for work, but mostly maintain my whereabouts in the shop in the Cleveland area. I like a good book, I'm weary of best sellers, I think the 90s were my Wonder Years, and the music was great, but I am a fan of all genres, with the exception of club music, so sorry, that is not my scene.
Sports are a big ticket for me, although I'm not the type to cancel life because the game is on, championship games excluded,ha. I haven't been to a concert in a while but I used to frequent them quite often in California, and even live bands at bars are a good time for me. I'm pretty reserved at first but I can force a few laughs from people when I get to know them. I love the beach, and I'll go to a lake erie "beach" in the summer and pretend I'm at the ocean. I traded in skateboarding for snowboarding when I moved out here, because you have to keep a hobby up in the winter or you will go crazy. I'll play any game, and I am competitive, but mostly looking to have fun. I'm fairly easy going and don't let a lot of things bother me, a pascifist, if you will. I guess the main reason I chose this online dating thing was to stop kicking myself over failed connections and not approaching women after we exchange glances, a way to try and force myself into it because I'm not getting any younger. So.. why not?
