Hi there. Maybe I'm looking for a man who is like an artichoke, (tough on the outside, tender on the inside).. . . because maybe I'm more like a (pale) peach - (paper thin skin, but with a solid core.) Seriously. . . I'm pretty sensitive - and I know myself well enough to know that I'm happiest with a man who is can be strong in the ways that I'm vulnerable - and vice versa. I've spent my entire adult life working in the arts - first as a ballet dancer, and now music and jewellery design float my boat. Sometimes opposites attract and sometimes it's comforting to be with someone from your own world. I've tried both approaches - and I'm not sure that I've found the right mix yet. A sense of humor is really important to me; I need to be with someone who gets me - and who can make me laugh!
