Who am I?
I'm a bit eclectic, I like the old and the new, reading an old classic, and watching mad men and portlandia, Kate spade pumps and old boots, beautiful, strict French grammar, not so strict Spanish grammar. I like fireplaces, good wine, dressing up, high heals, curtains, perfume, irises, daffodils, dogs, cupcakes, masterpiece mysteries, history, cathedrals, stone walls, gardens, views of the city, good coffee, tea in the afternoon, storms at the beach, taking lots of pictures of all kinds of things,(especially the turkeys grazing in my front yard) watching phineas and ferb. I like to travel where the cheese tastes different than in the US. I own a microwave and I'm not afraid to use it. I consider myself kind, compassionate, loyal, honest, a good friend.
I have a great job, and like going to work every day. I enjoy going out, but am also just as happy to stay in and watch a movie. Most of my friends think I'm funny, I guess I am. I like to laugh and I'm not afraid to laugh at myself. A good sense of humor in my partner would be a plus. I love smart wit, good banter, a challenge...
I really love to garden, to go overboard planting flowers and tomatoe plants . I've traveled quite a bit, my career allows for it, and I love it. My favorite places - downtown Asheville, Paris, south of France, Cordoba Spain, Morocco, the mountains, SC beaches.
I like putting on huge sunglasses, perfume and hoop earrings and I wish I had a fascinator in case I need to attend a royal wedding. I love oceans, seas, beaches, especially at the end of the day.
I have two beautiful daughters; they are smart, funny, curious, sweet, loving.
I am very fortunate, and I like where I am.
It's hard to describe the type of person I would like to meet..I think most of us are looking for similar things, to varying degrees- someone nice, honest, responsible, funny, smart, serious, goofy, irresistible- sometimes in that order, sometimes not. Hopefully we recognize it when we find it. I also believe its important to communicate, in all relationships, even if sometimes its difficult.
